We were inspired by the duality of 'graft' — in a botanical sense; a part of a plant that is placed on another plant in such a way that it attaches to and grows with the plant — in a work sense (hard graft); the toil and effort put into achieving a truely desired outcome.

Combining our initial thoughts with ever evolving technology, we wondered what the future of Australian native botanicals will bring. What plants will be human designed as opposed to nature evolved? What does a Kangaroo Paw grafted with a Banksia look like? Where do we go to from here?
